Welcome to The Vineyards Condominium |
 The Vineyards Condominium community was built in mid-eighties and is located in the Briggs Chaney area of Silver Spring, Maryland off of Ashton Manor Drive, not far from the East County Community Center
The Vineyards consists of 274 “garden” style condominium homes in twenty two (22) buildings. The community has addresses on Modrad Way, Sir Thomas Drive and Sir Thomas Way.
The purpose of this site is to provide homeowners and residents of our community with easy access to our association and information relevant to our neighborhood and community.

Water, Water, Water Everywhere! |

As many of you are aware, a source of water has been flowing onto the common areas located near the pool area. It was determined that the Community has an underground spring which has now decided to release its water. Management and the Board met several contactors and engineers on site to determine how the water may be diverted. After the pool season is over, the contractor will start the process of digging drains around the common areas outside of the pool area in order to divert the water into the storm drains. The community is looking at about $55,000.00 in order to accomplish this fix. The water needs to be diverted, so that it will not compromise any structural buildings or the pool area. More to come on this as the work progresses. |

The Landscape company has just finished trimming all the trees throughout the community . They have performed a very good job regarding this project, and many of the lights are now much more visible. The landscape company will be back to remove several trees which have been marked throughout the community. The Board of Directors will be meeting with the landscape company during the month of August to discuss projects for both the Fall and Spring of 2012. The Board will also be going over the snow removal policy for 2010/1011. |
